Bite Size Brunch

This past Sunday my Sister in-law threw a little brunch party. I love Brunch and then she told me everything she was going to make would be bite-size ...... you better believe i was not missing out! In fact i was showing up early because there was no way  i was going to attempt showing up late and  it all be gone! My sister is one amazing chef! She graduated from culinary school about a year ago and was living with us up until this past august. Its safe to say that when it comes to this lady in the kitchen she really knows how to make your tummy happy!
So the theme for Sunday was tiny party food! For her birthday she received this amazing cook book,

along with instructions that she was to throw a little get together with food made from the book.(Well Played girls,Well played ) I am so happy she went with a brunch theme. From the moment you walked in you were greeted with such a wonderful spread. I had to try everything! Below are some of my favorites .
Blueberry mascarpone macadamia nut crusted stuffed french toast..mmmmmm
Tiny smore poptarts.. I think these were my favorite
It's not a brunch with out mimosas..... or coffee!
Eclairs... I told you she was amazing !!!!!
Chicken and waffles... she doesn't mess around

I have officially been inspired to throw my own miniature food theme party, and to go get this book!!
Thanks for inviting me sis! You never disappoint!!!

Anyone have any good bite size recipes? I'll be needing some for my bite size party soon! Hope you all have a great week. Remember to check back  for my before and after on the master bedroom. It will be up sometime at the end of the week!!

# TBT Bridal Shower

#TBT To This Beautiful Brides Bridal Shower !

 Hey Friends!
I know this isn't Instagram, but i am going to do a #TBT.
In honor of one of my best friends celebrating her her two year anniversary i wanted to share her bridal shower that i threw for her. Now keep in mind this was before Pinterest ,however it still came out pretty cute . Ill be honest i cant wait to throw her a baby shower because it will be soo much better. Any ways because she had purchased a house a month before her wedding i thought it would be really fun to give her an around the house theme bridal shower. For all of you that do not know what this is,it basically means that each guest in their invite receives a room and they have to bring a gift that would go in that room . For example if your received kitchen you would have to bring some type of gift to go in or be used in the kitchen. I also included 3x5 cards in the invite and instructed everyone to write their favorite recipe on it and bring it along to the shower. It was such a hit! Our bride received a ton of new recipes and a bunch of stuff for her new home!  The shower took place in December so it was an indoor shower. To keep along with the theme i made 3 custom bird houses, one for the bride one for the mother of the bride and one for her mother in law all to take home at the end of the party. For favors i did little bags in her wedding colors purple and gray and inside i filled them with custom painted oven mitts and sugar cookies in the shape of a house .  I included a wishing/advice tree with the recipe box for when you first walked in as well .  The whole shower was filled with pictures of the soon to be Mr and Mrs and of course no party i throw would be complete with out a little dessert bar! Ive included a few photos. Remember this is all before Golden Polka dot, but its fun too look back and see that i have always loved to create things!!

Happy Anniversary Mrs. Muschaweck! Now get to work on those babies so i can throw you one amazing baby shower that will completely top this !!!

Anyone  throw any Bridal shower theme parties? Tell me about them! I love getting new ideas for my future engaged friends!!
